Hangzhou Historic Streets and Boutique Hotels

In the afternoon on August 20, our colleagues from sales, promotion and tour operation department drove to visit Hangzhou historic streets and newly opened themed hotels in the downtown of Hangzhou.

Walking through the gate of Drum Tower and a small flagging street, we arrived at first stop DHouse. You may probably miss it when you crossed the street for its simple and not eye-catching appearance. However, when entering the house, you would be amazed by its distinct style and design. It was a remix of traditional and modern style. The hotel was renovated from the traditional residence in China with only 7 rooms in total. The hotel would bring you 7 different feelings and 7 different dreams. The hotel had the French, Bohemia, Asian, Moulin Rouge, Mediterranean, Buddhism and b  styles room. It’s so cool, right? One of the hotel designers, Mr. Jiangpeng, had won the prize in Andrew Martin Interior Design. He intended to express the multiple, personalized and distinct lifestyle to every hotel guests.

After that, we continued to another themed hotel on the Dajing Lane in the historic block. Compared with DHouse, The Alley Inn was more like a themed guesthouse. Located close by the small hill, the hotel featured the white wall, black tile, distinct layout, lovely yard and exquisite and traditional window decoration and the comfortable facilities. Besides, the hotel room rate was also reasonable. With the good location, you can easily walk to the close-by shopping streets or restaurants.

In this area, it was said that around 3000 families still lived here. You could get to know more about the lifestyle of local residences. Besides, you could climb to the
