Scene 1:at a bus stop
Mike : 你好,请问这辆车去颐和园吗?
Pinyin: . qing wen zhe liang che qu yi he yuan ma?
Spelling: ni how. tsing when dre liung che tree E her yuan ma?
Meaning: Hello, does this bus go to the Summer Palace? (instead of ‘excuse me’, Chinese people always say ‘ni hao’ initially when they ask somthing from  strangers.)

Passerby: 不,996路车去颐和园, 每隔10分钟一班。
Pinyin: bu, 996 lu che cai qu yi he yuan. mei ge shi fen zhong yi ban.
Spelling: bu, jiu jiu liu lu che tsai tree E her yuan. may ge shr fen drong E ban. Meaning: No,  but the No. 996 buses go to the Summer Palace every 10 minutes.

Mike: 十分感谢!
Pinyin: shi fen gan xie!
Spelling: shr fen gan sie!
Meaning: Thanks a lot.
