Held on the basis of West Lake Guihua International Marathon and Hangzhou West Lake International Friendship Marathon, Hangzhou International Marathon is one of the most significant marathons inChinaand also labeled as an international level event authorized by Chinese Athletic Association, International Marathon and AIMS.
Hangzhou International Marathon distinguishes itself from others with its unique picturesque natural sceneries along the whole race, including the world natural heritage—the west lake as well as the embodiment ofHangzhou—the tea garden. All these, without a shadow of doubt, impart great glamour to Hangzhou International Marathon.

Men and Women:
Full Marathon: 42.195km HalfMarathon: 21.0975km
Short Marathon: 13km LittleMarathon: 6.8km
Family and Kids Run: 1.2km Couples Run: 3.5km
(1) Age limit: participants with the inclination to full marathon must be over 20.
Participants with the inclination to half marathon must be over 16.
Participants with the inclination to little marathon must be over 13.
Participants with the inclination to Family and Kids Run must be over 7.
(2) health requirements:
People with the following listed diseases are kindly advised not to participate in the marathons:
Congenital heart disease and rheumatic heart disease;
Hyper tension and cranial vascular disease;
Myocarditis and other heart diseases;
Coronary artery disease and serious cardiac arrhythmia;
Hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia diabetics;
Patients of other diseases unfit for sports;

5. Services guaranteed:
(1) Medical aid: medical aid stations will be set up along the race route as well as the start and finish area in case of unpredictable emergencies.
(2) Insurance: accident insurance will be provided by the Marathon Organizing Committee.
(3) Water and tea are at your disposal along the race route.
