It is said that if there are fairylands on earth, Jiuzhaigou Valley must be one of them. Jiuzhaigou Valley is a great masterpiece of nature having dreamlike scenery and abundant natural sceneries. It combines lakes, waterfalls, mountains, and the folk customs of the Tibetan people and Ethnic Qiang.
Like Yellow Mountain, there is no bad time to visit Jiuzhaigou Valley. But in winter, Jiuzhaigou is particularly peaceful, and poetic, the mountains and trees are wrapped in silver and white, the surfaces of waterfalls and lakes are smooth and glittering. Visit Jiuzhaigou in winter can be a best choice to experience Tibetan and Qiang ethnic customs, when many ethnic folk and religious activities take place. According to the local climate data, the beautiful winter landscape of Jiuzhaigou Valley is usually from Jan to May.
1. Between Nov. 15th and Mar. 31st the next year, the ticket for the Jiuzhaigou Valley is off-peak season price. The price for entrance is 80RMB per person (220 RMB per person in peak season), and the price for sightseeing bus is 80 RMB per person (90 RMB per person in peak season), which is quite cheaper than in peak season.
2. The temperature during the day and night is quite different in winter. In the daytime, it is shining. With high hills around, there’s no wind, and comparatively warm. But it is much colder when it is early morning or in the night, better to bring sweater, thick jacket, gloves, scarf and so on.
3. Necessary things: cold protection clothing, sunglasses, umbrella, cold pills, anti-high hill medicine and all kinds of food and snack.
I found many beautiful winter photos of Jiuzhaigou, relax and enjoy the beautiful sceneries.
